Pierre Vurpas Architectes Associés is an agency founded in Lyon in 1988. Having expanded its business for over 25 years, it is now a key regional player, employing about fifty employees. Since 2015, five partners have been running the agency together. This new organizational form has resulted in a simplified name and a redesign of the visual identity.
The objectives of the redesign are many: come in line with the agency’s new title, provide a coherent overall view on all communication media, and develop an aesthetic that’s both current and sustainable.
The agency’s historic logo represented a house illustrated in a deep blue: we have preserved this hue to ensure a degree of continuity and developed a very refined logotype sporting a horizontal composition in which the only the name "Vurpas" stands out as much as the term "Architectes". A is the only offset letter, simplified to create a reminder of the house as it existed before.
