Alexandre Mazzia, a Michelin-starred chef in Marseille, joined his brother in 2017 to open a second restaurant in Aix-en-Provence. He grew up in Congo, hence the name "Pointe Noire”, chosen as a tribute to this port city and economic capital of the country.
The visual identity we developed (logotype, stationery, menus) relates to land, origins and travelling. The letters "N" of the logotype were drawn to echo the name of the restaurant.
The support material is essential: raw material with warm and natural colors so we can create a refined, nuanced and evocative universe of the founding concept of the restaurant. Multiple stamps are scattered over the various objects as a reminder of passports and couriers to add the notion of travelling.
