LSM – Campain #1
Open to the public since 2017, La Seine Musicale is a broad-scale complex built on Île Séguin (in Boulogne-Billancourt) that is dedicated to all forms of music. Designed by Japanese architect Shigeru Ban, its building echoes the shape of a ship and contains several concert venues, recording studios, and exhibition spaces, covering a total surface area of over 36,000 m2.
In the aim of increasing the site's visibility, we came up with an overall campaign (posters and television) that focuses on the programming for the year 2018. The idea is a simple one: use the wide variety of shows as a strength, highlighted through a playful typographical game in which the viewer has to reassemble artists names with the help of the different colors used, ranging from NTM to Gilberto Gil or Philippe Jaroussky. The random aspect of the composition creates a sense of accumulation and perfectly reflects the abundance of La Seine Musicale's 2018 calendar.
These typographical visuals coexist with photographs depicting the building, an architectural prowess in itself - whose presence is also essential to appreciate the extent of the complex.
